Pod parking

Has anyone used it?
Do the pods return you to the car park?
I read somewhere that it’s a bus back
Also it’s only letting me book for about 6 hours before we land, will we get charged if late back to car?

Heathrow Terminal 5?

It's a few years since we used. The pods went both ways to and from terminal 5 - from the pod car park to just at the edge of the short stay multi storey car park. We loved them but have discovered a taxi is just as cheap for us these days.

Pods take you back to the station you select. From arrivals follow the signs and when a pod is free, pick destination. It is a clever system, used it in February and waited less than a minute for the return pod.

Thanks for the quick replies
We saw these a while ago at Heathrow and thought they looked really cool!
Excited we might get to try them out, just need to check what happens if we go over our time

From memory, like other airport car parks where you book multiple days, the booking is in 24 hour blocks.
If you went into an extra 24 hour block for which you haven’t booked & paid beforehand, I suspect you’d need to pay for this at one of the pay points when leaving.
