I’ve just booked the iberostar Las Dalias in Costa Adeje Tenerife for 6 nights in September. Never been to this hotel before or even Tenerife, it has good reviews though so I’m hoping it will be nice! Also hoping it will be suitable for those of us with coeliac disease.

Good to hear you enjoyed PB. We are going next month. Have been before but over 20 years ago !
Sorry to any Canary Island fans ( we have been to all the main Islands several times) but I do kind of find them all the same really.

We have visited both Lanzarote (playa Blanca) and Tenerife (El Medano), both of which we thoroughly enjoyed.

We were particularly surprised with El Medano, as it seems to be much more of a locals town than a tourist hotspot. Very cheap as well for eating and drinking out. Sunday was a great evening - loads of families out enjoying the evening. Also really nice driving up the coast towards Santa Cruz - again, very local and quite cheap for lunch/drinks where we stopped off.

Sorry only just seen this.

Haven't been to the Rubicon since 2012 unfortunately but it looked lovely when we picked some people up to go back to the airport and they said they'd enjoyed their stay.

Have you booked the Privilege package?

We've stayed there twice on the Privilege package and really enjoyed it.
Separate restaurant for breakfast and evening meal.
Lunch was in the pool bar in a roped off area with waiter service and the Privilege lounge is off reception area where you help yourself to drinks and snacks.
There are some chocolates in bowls in the lounge and they are so nice but unfortunately you can't buy them in the canaries only on mainland Spain.
You also get branded drinks and if you want Coke Pepsi Fanta etc it's bottled instead of on a pump.
