FP booking / Galaxy's Edge merchandise

We are just sat planning our FP bookings which are due next Friday. We arrive 2 days before GE opening day and although it's going to insanely busy, we are lucky enough to have 'extra' extra magic hours every day in all parks. My question is, even if we go to say Hollywood Studios (not GE part), do you think we will be able to purchase the opening day GE merch at HS or will it be limited to GE only? Is there such thing as opening day merch or is it all the same products for the first few weeks? We've never been to one of these events before but would just love to purchase a couple of things for a relative who is in the film industry.

I believe the only place you can buy merchandise with Galaxy's Edge on is the rest of the park. Due to the immersive experience they want to create anything with GE on will not be available in Battu. However there will be turned items only available in Galaxy's Edge.

In Disneyland they were selling opening day merchandise for the first few weeks from what I've read. I would assume they would put some of it in other locations to try to spread people out but until opening day its gonna be hard to tell.

Thank you both. This is the issue we have, I'm not so bothered for GE we would just like to buy a few things and just don't want to miss out. Wonder when Disney will release info on how opening day is going to work 🤔.
