Lakeland Tigers tickets in August.

Been reading a few thread and I've decided to go and see the Lakeland Tigers one evening during our stay in August. Never been to a baseball game before and don't want to travel long nor spend a fortune.

Question is where do they play and do you need to book tickets in advance or can you just turn up on the day?

Now off to look for a rodeo as well ...

Don't think tickets for next season are on sale yet. You could probably buy on the day but easy enough to book online. About 40 mins down the I4 from the Disney area.

You can just turn up. We went to a Sunday afternoon game. It was $5 for adults, kids free. There must have been all of a couple of hundred people. You could sit anywhere. Enjoyed it more the the Rays game.

We went in August last year to dollar night. Dollar to get in, dollar sodas, hotdogs, peanuts etc. Was a great evening with fab atmosphere. Plenty of free parking. We just turned up. There were plenty of seats and we took advice at box office where to sit. Would advise insect repellent though as I was bitten

My husband went and he too enjoyed if more than seing the Rays.

We got in forfive dollers each for 2 back to back games plus fireworks, great value and a great night.
