Never expected to see a trip report from my neck of the woods Good read!

I work in Glasgow during the week and apparently they call it the chippy... Got laughed at by my new colleagues and they claimed to honestly not know what I meant when I use the word "chipper"- hmm must have been so hard for them to figure out...!

A really great trippie of a fabulous weekend. Sounds like you all had so much fun, mouldy baps aside.

I'm from the deep south, Devon not Alabama though and we call it the chippy, but a Dad at the school where I work calls it the chipper, I'd never heard it called that before and now I hear it's a Scottish word. The Dad is definitely from this area, maybe he has Scottish blood somewhere in his veins?

I lived in Aberdeen and used visited Ballater as long times ago... I love to go back again.
