What a fabulous day! You cannot beat lots of food and cocktails in NOLA

I didn't know about the blue werewolf!

We heard so much about Nic Cage on our two tours

Pretty perfect day right

Once we had been told about the blue werewolf, we saw it everywhere - kinda cute actually !

Poor NC - they really weren't very charitable about him at all.

Great day, I love the architecture of the buildings in New Orleans!
Shame you didn't enjoy the tour, although interesting to hear of the grisly goings on in the city
Another good food day too!
I've been showing my mum this report and she is really enjoying reading about your time in NO and seeing lots of the places they visited last year

It really is such a strikingly different looking city.
It was a good food and drink day.
The tour was ok, just a bit strung out .

Glad that the police activity and coroner’s van turned out to be nothing sinister!

Shame about the first Uber driver, but it sounds like the others were more successful.

Wonderful day. The hotel looks gorgeous. I can see why you fell in love with the place, all the photos today just looked fab... even the rain! Good job your tour was a bargain I think it would have been more frustrating if you had paid full price.

That rain's a bit mental! Glad it didn't spoil your day though. Ooh, how exciting that they were filming CSI, what a shame you didn't see any famous people.

The tour sounds, erm, interesting? I really do think a tour guide can make or break a tour, yours sounds a bit self obsessed. Still, some interesting facts, and more lovely photos of the buildings.

Yes - we really thought there had been a murder or something it all looked so serious! We were Uber converts by the end

The hotel is so gorgeous and in such a great location. We really did fall in love with it. That rain gives the storms in Florida a bit of competition - its torrential !

Yes, definitely biblical rain - we had a downpour on our last visit that was so heavy you could barely see in it . You are so right about the tour guide - she was very chatty and enthusiastic - just tended to go off topic a bit ... saw some great places though
