We were in NY earlier this month. We stayed at Tryp by Wyndham on W35th Street. Was very handy for access to Penn Station. As four ladies (72, 50, 21 and 20) we wanted 4 separate beds. We stayed in a family room that would sleep 8 which was fab and large. It was much cheaper than having 2 separate rooms.

Had 2 double beds at one end, separated by a screen from the rest of the room, 2 bunk beds along one wall mid room, plus a sofa bed. Plenty of storage, and a huge bathroom.

Where do you find $1 slice of pizza?😋
There's a few but the one we used was in eighth avenue heading upwards past the newyorker. It's on a corner

We stayed at the Distrikt Hotel near Port Authority Bus Terminal. Great stay and nice central location. We had a higher room with a better view.

We also stayed in the Tryp, with a similar room, 2 double beds, but it was wider and we had a cot. The hotel staff were very helpful and I’d stay there again. It was about 10 minutes walk to the middle of Times Square.

Ah no probs

The metro rooms are really small , metro view are the same just with a view. The executive rooms are a wee bit bigger and suited bigger again. Thectwice I've stayed the room has been small and especially when kids were there two double beds was even worse. Having said that... I love the New Yorker hotel. The bellman , the lifts, the size, the tradition of it - I like the location - go to google and it will show you all restaurants that are local. Tic toc diner is onsite ... and preferred andrews coffee shop for brekkie just a couple of streets away. I tried for upgrades when there but no luck lol ! You can Facebook them
