If i had been you i would not of accepted that answer, you should keep complaining until you get a better response.

Again i would still be complaining as that sounds like it was a automated response to a complaint from a low level employee.

don't just give up if you get fobbed of with an answer like either of these keep complaining and asking to be passed on to management until you get a a descent response.

Management are there to deal with complaints keep pushing until you get put though to one, and if you don't then go to the top and complain to the president of Disney parks world wide (i forget his name)

but we shouldn't have to complain in the first place! let alone twice, to me thats just DLP all over. I made a query rather than a complaint to WDW before this holiday as something happend the last time i was there and i was worried it might happen again, they could NOT have done more, they called me from the US, sent me a few emails on what to do etc, just totally different! I get yes they're different parts of the world but they're meant to be the same company!

True you shouldn't have to complain twice, but its worth persevering with any large corporation- you never get a good response on ground level, its going up to management here responses come!
Went shopping on Oxford street yesterday, you can buy everythingh except the new lung I needed after walking through all the smoke! And got bashed around by all the shoppers, and the servicew in every shop was surly and disinterested bar two- one of them Disney store! So sadly these are problems all over...

Oxford Street has become very smoky outside the shops since the smoking ban. I hope the service in John Lewis was good I work for them, though as chef in a distribution centre. We often go down the back streets. The big stores all have enterances on the streets behind Oxford Street and they are not busy at all. That said this is only possible on the left hand side of the steet ( as you go from Marble Arch to Tottemham Court Road)

On our last trip to DLP the Brits were just as bad a smoking as the others. It needs a big clampdown but we have to recognise that the Brits are just as much at fault.

I find it interesting that in this thread about smoking at DLP you think you shouldn't have to complain at all, yet in the thread you started in chat & news about smoking at WDW you suggested that people get to together and complain.

You know over in the thread in chat & news about smoking at WDW nobody there has said "Iv never been to WDW but because of what iv read here about smoking im Never going to WDW"
I just cant help but thinking that people are just being prejudice against DLP simply because its not WDW and are using any excuse to bash DLP.

Oh i agree that you should not have to complain to DLP, WDW, or anywhere. Unfortunately life just dose not work that way and things will always go wrong / not be as they are supposed to and when that happens i believe that people should complain. Unfortunately when you complain it is normally to some low level employee who would rather be chatting to his mate that deal with you which is why people often get fobbed of with a rubbish response. It is times when this happens that IMHO you should keep on complaining until you get a descent reply from who ever you are complaining to.
But saying that you do not always get fobbed of sometime you will get put though to someone who will do there best to help you and resolve your complaint.

We are British. Complaining is one of the things that us British do best. Unfortunately we do not always complain to the people responsible for the complaint and we tend to do it other people.
