All star hotels booking
Did anyone else book for any of the all star hotels before they announced they weren’t reopening?
Wondering if anyone have been given any other options than I have. I need to move my dates by 2 days, back in June? July? I can’t remember honestly when Disney gave the ultimatum we chose to rearrange the holiday for august 2021, we lost our dining plan and had to pay a higher price meaning instead of Coronado we chose all star sports. If I remember correct Disney gave a time limit for the decision and obviously this was way before flights were available so we had to blindly book dates. The flights I’ve now booked don’t match the dates (choice seemed a lot more limited than previously) Now I’ve contacted Disney to change the dates and have been told they cannot do this because the hotel is not open and I would need to switch to a different hotel at the expense of myself. My argument is, I booked that hotel in good faith that as they were selling it, it would be open on my dates, it’s not my fault they are not giving an opening date and should they not open by august they are going to have to change ya to somewhere else free of charge anyways. My other option is to wait it out, potentially leaving us with no parks booked for the first 2 days if they become fully booked up. |
