Yep - that is my biggest worry. That would just be the breaker obviously. 👎

We had a February 21 half term trip planned. I have cancelled (full refund) - my main concern and reason for cancelling is not knowing or being confident that it will be the same experience that I expect and have experienced from previous trips.
My personal thoughts are that I am foregoing any Disney holiday for the next 18 months. It's UK short breaks/week in a caravan for us until then. Plenty to explore and enjoy.

We’ve done the U.K. staycation thing and it was fun but it doesn’t cut it for us really. It just gave us the bug to travel further!

I don't think you are mad to book it but just makes sure you can get a 100% REFUND at short notice.

No-one knows what will happen with Corona.
But lets remember that there is a chance this winter that it comes back. Corona spreads better indoors and when the weather gets cold people spend more time indoors.

Also, the winter flu could have a huge impact on it.

So by all means, book it, but just don't get too disappointed if it does get cancelled at short notice, as that is very possible.

Summary; book it but only if you can get a 100% refund!

The best advice is to book through DLP then you get the Zen guarantee. It doesn’t include flights because they are not Disney operated. It is never a great idea booking through a travel agent as Disney will not deal directly with you until you arrive at DLP. You have to do everything through the agent.
We booked November as we cancelled a trip to Tokyo Disney and we love DLP. If there are quarantine problems we will cross that bridge at the time.
If you want to find out more about DLP The Great British Mickey Waffle podcast (the one at the bottom of the Dibb main menu) has a DLP special coming out on September 1st

Thanks everyone! We will defo book direct. I’m not 100% sure what to do about the flights as I need to check which ones we can cancel/move if need be. We don’t mind moving it but would defo like that peace of mind that we can move it if we feel we need to. There is a lot of variables with covid, winter bugs, quarantine but it is nice to plan something and look forward to something so if we can take a calculated risk then that’s fine.
There’s just something stopping me pressing the book button...

Snap! But with no fireworks, parade, character dining,. I'm inclined to cancel 😪😪

We have just come back from motor home holiday in the UK. Lots of fun but it made us realise on our holidays we want to go abroad!
We have DLP booked for the end of October. I don’t think it will happen to be honest but I’ve got my fingers crossed. Booked directly with Disney and I can change Eurostar date so I’ll just keep changing the date until we can go!

I keep dithering to see if France impose a quarantine but I think I’ll just book direct and then hope for the best!
