The airline will close the check in at 10 as normal, if they get the all clear for the OP to proceed they'll take them through security etc.

That’s good to hear it buys them a bit more time .

Me too. It really is scary these things can happen - you can’t even plan for or prevent something like this.

That's exactly what you need, and if it falls through then it's all on Norwegian (as they've admitted fault) to sort you out and i'd be looking at them to cover any costs as a result.
