Ticket advice please
All of this talk of tickets has made me take stock.
Short version: I have 2 new non-expiring (well until 2030 since Disney decided on a new definition of the term 'non-expiring!) 7 day park hopper tickets with '5 MPP' visits (I think that was water parks but not sure) that I would like to sell but need some advice about the best way to do this. These tickets are dated 2004 and are still in the Undercover Tourist see-through pack, although it has been opened. Longer version: I have enough non-expiring for DH and me already so don't need them myself and my family do not want them. The above tickets have never been linked to any account and the reason I would like to sell is that one of them, bought by me on behalf of my deceased friend, and sometime travelling buddy, was given back to me after she died. The other was mine. Her family don't have a lot and I doubt have any idea how much Disney tickets cost, so I would like to surprise them with a bit of cash. Trouble is, there is a whole issue of trust in selling these isn't there? For a prospective purchaser - how do they know I am telling the truth in that these have never been linked to an account or used? I am going myself (hopefully) at the end of September and thought about taking the tickets along to Downtown Disney Guest Relations just to check them out and that if I 'gave them to a friend' there would be no problem using them, given that they are 17 years old. Any suggestions what I should do after that?

They will exchange them for the current equivalent, MYW Hopper Plus, when we done ours the MPP was just converted to "normal" days (We had used part of these) & I just had to add the new ticket numbers to MDE. Sorry not sure if these were name specific, we still have Ds' somewhere. We only just finished using them in 2018!

That's interesting about the MPP (whatever it was); so effectively they could be 12 day park tickets - wow, they were a good buy
My son says someone he works with is planning a trip next year and he thinks he would be interested in the tickets. I think selling them to someone there is a connection with, however loose, is a good idea. Thanks for the response Shooby doo.
