Watched Palm Springs on Amazon Prime... rom com that’s an afternoon watch. Easily forgettable but there’s worse I’ve seen.

I wasn't expecting much from this so was pleasently surprised! It's a great popcorn action film with really good special effects. Just leave your brain at the door & enjoy!

The Call of the Wild on Disney+ yesterday...
CGI mutts were well done, characterisation very good, and, well, Harrison Ford can carry any movie in my opinion. Overall, good feelgood hokum. |

Daughter's verdict: "well, that wasn't a complete failure." (She's fourteen and increasingly cynical) Mine? Actually really quite enjoyed it. It'll not win any Oscars, but good popcorn. |
