My all time favourite film, just watched it again last week

I will have to rewatch this weekend. Shed a few tears in the kitchen just now when they were playing Edelweiss. Part of my childhood. RIP Captain. Xx

He was my mums favourite actor. Fond memories of being taken to see the sound of music at the cinema by older cousins in the mid seventies. I was about 7 and I remember feeling so grown up

My mum's favourite, shes with him now at last and Frank Sinatra, had both of them at her funeral, Gerry Marsden too. My mum will be having a party up there

We watched him in a film called Remember, last weekend, a great film.
He was a good actor but definitely his most memorable film will always be The sound of music.
