What do you hate that other people do at the airport?

Further to my earlier thread, what do people hate about the other people at the airport? What do you see everyone doing that really annoys you?

I have lots of things that annoy me about other flyers behaviours. One of the most annoying is at the baggage claim: the red line around the conveyor belt is there for a reason! You should stand behind it, keep your trolley well away from the conveyor and only step forward when your bag is approaching you, remove your bag/s and step back behind the line to allow others to do the same. Never happens. Everyone gets in a jam with their shins against the machinery, with a trolley, or two, each, allowing the bags of those behind them to slide past while they stare over the far side of the conveyor, before suddenly spotting their case and running off, with trolley in tow, to the far leg of the machine, to collect their first, of five, huge case

The complete spanners who despite all the warnings, requests, signs etc STILL manage to have liquids etc in their hand luggage.

Queuing at the gates even though their section hasn’t been called yet. You end up having to push through the crowds to get through. It’s not like it’s going to all of a sudden go without them!
Letting the kids push the trolley laden with luggage, even though they can barely see over the top of it and are mowing down people practically.

The airport itself that makes you walk through a perfume section of the duty free that Hubbie is allergic to
He pulls his jumper over his face and glares at the young girls brandishing bottles in our face like it’s their fault

People that take half their belongings in hand luggage , and then take forever trying to get their iPad out of the bag.

Kids on trunki’s .. most annoying things ever , if the parents don’t end up carrying them , the kid are ramming into people’s ankles !

Not watching kids especially near the luggage belts , the whole family does not need to stand there .

Take their shoes off while seated in the departure areas.

Agree with the lining up at the gate before your seats are called, so annoying - you have a seat, it isn’t going to go without you.
(I blame the encouragement to take cabin bags only, passengers want to get that locker space!)
Queueing at security as well, just put enough staff on and have an idiot line to direct people to who have liquids and other stuff they shouldn’t have in carry on bags.
Plus the random bag check, if you’re going to pull my scanned and cleared bag for a drug swipe - JUST GET ON WITH IT, instead of making me wait for ages

I was going to type the same . Bad parenting to allow them (I cant blame the kids) but I really do wish those death trap trunk i especially were banned from airports

When people pile bags etc on chairs in waiting areas when there aren’t enough seats at busy times. This will be even worse now as people enforce a social distance around themselves.
