Calling all NCL veterans for advice

I booked our first NCL Cruise over the Thanksgiving/Black Friday weekend for October Half Term 2021 - 7-nights from Athens to Israel. Any tips/advice/suggestions most welcome

In general book as much as you can in advance such as speciality dining and shows but not sure if that applies to the smaller ships such a NCL Pearl. Join latitudes for future perks and offers. Maybe consider buying some future cruise credits at the end of your stay if you enjoy NCL. Dress code is not very formal. Maybe bid for an upgrade nearer your departure date; we've enjoyed some great upgrades for reasonable bids.

Really appealing itinerary. I hope you enjoy it.

Which ship are you on?

We’ve sailed twice with NCL and love them. The UBP is the best value I’ve ever had

ETA just seen your countdown is the Pearl! We sailed on her in 2006 and loved her. Not sure how helpful my experience from 14 years ago will be - the other one I’ve done is the Getaway and that was this February.

Love the Pearl and would sail on her again in a heart beat. Definitely book any speciality restaurants before you sail, can recommend the Steak restaurant. Tbh all of the speciality restaurants were amazing. If you like Chinese type food the free Lotus Garden was yummy and we ate there on two occasions.
You will have a great time.

Thanks everyone. 👍

Yes it’s the Norwegian Pearl.

Really looking forward to it. 😎
