Christmas baking ideas for young children?

Aldi have a Gingerbread Dough kit with the cutters and decorations included for £1.99 Think Sainsbury's do a ready made Gingerbread too. My Grandchildren absolutely loved decorating them.

My kids used to make brownies or cookies, id buy the ready mixes Betty Crocker are nice. Cheese straws are also easy and yummy 😋

We made tunnocks tea cake reindeer yesterday, antlers out of matchsticks, icing eyes and m&m nose. Great fun, my kids are 31,26 and 24.

Mine used to like making peppermint creams and truffles. You cake make the peppermint creams like snowmen and decorate the truffle to make them look like Christmas puds

Not really baking but we made these marshmallow penguins last year. They’re just marshmallows rolled in chocolate and then edible eyes and half a smartie stuck on for a nose. Really easy to do and not much mess!
