7-8 kilos... thats 15-18 lbs! That is enormous! Are you sure it will fit in your oven?

Ours is on the heavy side of our order bracket. 6.02 kilos. I’m not convinced the crappy, bought in panic the day before lockdown oven shelf can take it! 😬
It’s nestling in it’s pet carrier in the fridge ready for brining before we go out later. Hope it fits in the bucket 😳

My Mum used to take all of the shelves out of the oven , place the roasting tin with the turkey in on the base of the oven and cook it slowly overnight to free up the oven for the other bits Christmas Day

We have a company called ‘Bristol meat machine’ that operates through the SW of England from the back of an Article.

We use them a fair bit and have never been disappointed to date, normally Fillets.

Last year was our first Turkey from them, Turkey roll in fact, all white meat and very good. This year it is a 5.5kg Turkey breast Butterfly and fresh. It came in at £40 and was sourced from Poland.

Turkey sandwiches, Cold Turkey for Boxing Day, Turkey Curry, Turkey Pie, Turkey sandwiches etc beckon for weeks to come as our family guest list has cut from 8 to 5.
