Yes, stayed there a few times. They have a free shuttle bus to the terminals. The Chinese restaurant is really nice if you fancy a meal .

Getting Excited

Many, many years ago.
Very basic, no view at all out the window if that matters. An air stewardess in reception was complaining that she’d found glass in her food, and the transfer bus to collect us on the way back took over half an hour to drive the few hundred yards to come and get us (couldn’t walk as no paths) The Radisson is perfect, stay there in a suite every time now, expensive but worth it |

Earning More Ears

I stayed at the Crowne in September 2019.
It wasn't amazing but it was close to the terminal and perfect for what you need it for. comfy bed and a pull out couch. we had a really good meal in the restaurant, staff were super friendly and the shuttle was perfect in the morning. perfect for the price that you're paying! almost everyone is there for the airport if not everyone so it was pretty quiet too but if you're like me you're likely to be up all night too excited to sleep

Trying for More Ears

Stayed a few times, and as people have said its OK.
Was probably lovely 15/20 years ago but doesn't seem to have been updated in a while. Also it's not overly cheap to be fair and for the price you can probably get better But it is close and we never had any issues with the minibus |

We find Crowne Plaza and the Clayton much the same - rooms basic but fine, very handy, good shuttles and not bad for dinner. I'd go with whichever is cheaper. We've booked Clayton again for later this year - £115 including breakfast.
