I was worried about the jet lag. I normally like to allow myself a week to get over it before going back to school. However, only having a couple of days before going back to school certainly galvanised my determination to get up as soon as I woke up and to keep myself awake and get back into UK time as quickly as possible! It also helped that I’d planned a nice ‘easy’ week back at school with lots of history artefacts to explore. 😉
