Feb food fest 2020
So this will be a very short and to the point food report!
Here is my pre trip report; https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/sho... php?t=1147359 But in short we are 2 adults and 2 ‘kids’ @17 and 13. We visited 6-21st feb. We had a mixture of villa and on site hotels, all meals and snacks were OOP. Night before Firstly the kids were at school/college so hubby and I snuck off to our favourite breakfast place. I went for the veggie, not sure why as I love me meat! We stayed at PI North as we live the hotel and location. Normally we eat at Thyme and have never been let down. But I had seen reports the quality was going down. I also fancied something a bit different. So we headed to Giraffe in the south terminal as we love their fresh food approach. Service was a little slow but they spend their time with customers so can’t complain as we weren’t I. A hurry for a flight! I had chicken teriyaki bowl which was so yummy and fresh! I didn’t want it to end... Daughter went for taco bowl, she demolished the lot Hubby and son had burgers, they enjoyed them, what to say, they are burgers... And we shared a salad Then back to the room for champers Edited at 08:05 PM. |

Always eat at Giraffe 🦒 if passing through Gatwick. The one in T5 at Heathrow isn't too bad either. Following with interest.
