On New Years eve we normally go to Pizza Express after the Panto so I have just been out and got Pizza Express Pizzas and Dough balls from Tesco (all on special offer - half price)

On New Years day we have Steak & Ale pie from Costco !

Easy with no real cooking !

If not out at friends (we won't be this year of course) we order Chinese Takeaway and normally watch one of the new dvd's we got at Christmas. But as there were no films out this year nothing has really come out on dvd that we haven't seen. We got Tenet but watched that on Boxing day.

Just 3 of us so not sure what to do on New Years Day, might be a roast.

Steak pie every New Years day without fail. New Year’s Eve will be whatever is left in the house.

They do sound good! I am off to look up a recipe!

We are actually having stovies tonight I’m using left over stew that was put in the freezer
New Year’s Eve will be a side of salmon that was reduced in Aldi and son brought home it’s in the freezer
New Years Day will be steak pie I do my stew for it in the slow cooker this year it looks like I’m going to have to use my big slow cooker my small slow cooker and my triple one as making the steak pies for 4 households as some are isolating due to positive Covid results good job I’ve enough as mine call them enamel pie dishes in various sizes

We’re doing tapas for NYE - pil pil (prawns, garlic, chilli and oil), black pudding, squid, manchego cheese and honey, peppers
And New Years Day we’re having beef wellington (Gordon Ramsey’s lighter version), garlic potatoes and veg. We haven’t really cooked since Christmas Day - well pizzas last night, but definitely not proper dinners.

New Year’s Eve just the 4 of us (and possibly my brother who’s in our bubble) having a Indian takeaway. New Year’s Day I’ve got tonnes of party food in the freezer that we didn’t eat over Xmas so I’m literally just going to cook it all off stick everything on the island in the kitchen including chips and dips, party food, sausage rolls, chocolate, nuts, cheese and crackers! Basically everything that’s left over and let the gannets help themselves all day 😂😂

New Year's Eve will be takeaway of some kind. Usually I have Chinese but I'm not sure. New Year's Day will probably be cold meat and potato salad (must make that tomorrow!)

Might make stovies for Hogmanay.
James Martin has a great steak and mustard pie filling which is also great as a stew. We had it on Boxing Day😉
