I watched it on the plane to mco in 2019. I was a wreck! I always seem to watch real tearjerkers on a flight - it embarrassing how much I cry!

I do like a good thriller/detective movie tho. Up late t'other night typing an email when The Limehouse Golem came on. Something caught my eye with the film, 30 mins later I realised my puter was asleep and I was well into it and, even tho I guessed the twist, watched to the end.

Stay well MM, take good care
The books it’s based on, Dan Leno and the Limehouse Golem is brilliant too.

Not keen on remakes of A Star is Born - the Judy Garland/James Mason version is my favourite.

Wonderful movie, sobbed like a baby. But then I sobbed like a baby last night watching Saving Mr Banks (again) so it doesn’t take much. I quite like a good cry

LOL - I am old but not that old! Never got into the Barbra one, my fave of hers is Hello Dolly.

I did say you are the exception. I am older than you but less musical. I think Kris Kristofferson may have influenced me a bit too. 🤭

I don’t know about it being generational 😆 as I was nowhere near born when the Judy Garland one was made, but I still think it’s the best version, and I’ve seen them all 😉
