How do I cancel with DCL?

We have a Disney cruise (booked direct) booked for April 2021, which we obviously won’t be going on. Our final payment date is 11 Feb, so I really need to get it cancelled now.

I looked at the booking confirmation and in the T&Cs, but all I can see is the cancellation section saying that it can be cancelled by phone or in writing. I can’t see where it shows the number or address to use for cancellations. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Try this. I was given it last month when I called when lines were closed.

I also need to cancel our April cruise. I expect the phones to be very busy as they just cancelled through end of March.

Thank you, I’ll try that one. My next challenge is to find a moment to call when I’m not working and the girls aren’t around! With any luck, it will happen at some point before 11 Feb!

I’m going to try today so I’ll let you know how long it takes to get through.

20 minutes on hold, unfortunately I got cut off whilst speaking to the lady.

20 minutes on hold the second time, start again with the process but apparently its not as easy as I thought as our OBC can be automatically transferred to another cruise we have booked already. On hold again while they speak to a supervisor, 45 minutes on the call so far.

In terms of getting through though, it was much quicker than when I called last year to rebook following cancellation.

ETA - After just over an hour on hold our April cruise is now cancelled and our OBC offers have been added to our August booking. She said it was possible only because both of the cruises were booked at the same time, otherwise they would have had to cancel our August cruise and rebook. As the August cruise had gone up in price since booking and the cabin type was no longer available that wouldn't have been as good.

Edited at 07:08 PM.

Oh no, that sounds complicated, and what a pain being cut off.

We have another cruise booked (April 2022), which I guess they’ll see when they look at my account, but I’m hoping they’ll just refund me, rather than transfer anything.

Interesting. I guess the moving of the OBC offer might be restricted to cancelled cruises as I was able to move mine without any issues on to a cruise I had only booked 3 weeks before.
