Should we love those we hate?

I don’t think I hate anyone. To hate someone, you’d have had to have loved or liked them a lot, to have such a strong emotion to them afterward.

I dislike some people, or dislike some of their characteristics. But, no more than that really.

It’s like on here, there are some Dibbers I think I’d get on really well with irl and others... well, not so much 😉
But I don’t love or hate any of them tbh 😆

I don’t love all dibbers, but I honestly believe all dibbers love me (being nominated as dibber of the year 2020 proved that).

I can’t think of anyone that I hate but there are people I don’t like and there are behaviours that I hate. I try to separate the behaviour from the person - everyone has the capacity to change their behaviour if they want to.

Sometimes I might make a snap decision in the heat of the moment and think “I hate you” but that fades and I’m usually left feeling annoyed, frustrated or something else but never hatred.

I love the DIBB and MH .

I dont think i hate anyone - really dislike about 6 people, all of whom have hurt someone close (different people) to me but not me directly, i dont see the point of wasting energy on those not worthy so cut them out of my life. Not always easy but not feeding them the ability to hurt people and ignore them is the only way to really deal with it.

I dont think I hate anybody, but there are certainly people who I dislike and no longer have time for (quite a few family members who have showed their true colours over the years). I always try and see the best in people but theres only so much I will take - and its usually more than others!

I am feeling so much love from my dibb family who have posted and I thank you from the top and bottom of my heart for your love and not hate.

We need to support Sandra who is still holding hate against the woman who never repaid the money back she loaned her way back in the 1980s. Perhaps we should start a go fund me page to buy Sandra a massive heart shaped cake with the words 'LOVE NOT HATE' on it.

Stole or loaned, this is a dark cloud that you are allowing to follow you around for far too long (since the 1980s), so as an unqualified therapist I want you to let that dark cloud go away and for sunshine to replace it.

You have allowed this woman to bring you down for what was just money that wouldn’t have even been life changing, so you have to finally move on and accept that your life has almost certainly been a happier one than the woman’s, and it can be happier one still if you just let go and move on.

We’ve all had people steal from us or do things that weren’t nice, and holding grudges doesn’t make it go away, but we learn from those people and appreciate the kinder people even more.
