Disney's Riviera Resort

Hi all,

I just wondered if any members of the general public are able to book the Riviera Resort (aka people who are not DVC members).

If so, does anyone have an idea of costs for end of August/ start of September?

Thanks!

Hi, no I haven't sorry,

Rack rate is between $627 - $886 for a studio villa for those dates, depending on view and weekday/weekend.

Im sure you know, but Disney isn't taking any booking right now. If you're looking to book next year, booking a DVC rental would bring those coats down a lot.

Thank you for coming back to me. So a DVC rental would always be cheaper than booking direct with Disney? Do you have any recommendations of companies to contact?

A small % of DVC resorts have to be available for cash bookings, normally 5%- it's some law, that being said 5% is quite small, what normally happens with the likes of SSR & OKW is that rooms that aren't taken up by owners are fed back into the system.Dave's dvc request have a good calculator, you will pay approx $19/point, up until C19 they did have a good reputation but I've believe there are some issues around refunds

Yes anyone can look around Riviera, just get off the Skyliner.

In my opinion the resort is a bit disappointing. The rooms are great but I’m not much of a fan of the resort itself.

Yes it will be much cheaper renting points.

I’d much prefer to be staying in the nearby Boardwalk or Beach Club DVC side personally.
