Wyndham Gardens lake Buena Vista

Hi all

Never stayed in the above hotel but seen from another answered question on the forum that Wyndham Gardens are the motel style rooms and Wyndham is the tower? Is this correct?

Also... Does anyone have any advise or tips On this hotel and offer Info whether you did or did not pay resort fees.

I stayed next door in the Palace so passed it every day!. yes Gardens are the Motel type rooms and the Tower is what I would call the main hotel. I am sure someone will come along who has stayed there recently so that they can advise you on the state of the rooms.

It is a fab hotel if you want the convenience of Springs as it is right by the walkway over. You can also walk right up to crossroads (about 15 mins depending on how quick you walk) on a safe well lit path (that is of course as long as Crossroads is still there when you plan to travel).

Transport to Disney - 2 an hour, unless changed you are the 2nd of 3 hotels on pick up, you have to give a little either way timewise on buses .

Inside of the tower (main hotel) looked nice last year - think quite recently had a refurb, was going to say a nice little Disney shop but I believe they have alll been closed - mind you not really needed when Springs is so close!

Resort charge - not sure what yours would be. When I booked via Virgin I was never charged a fee (well I was I am sure it would have been included in the price I paid), but since travelling DIY I have had to pay - beware it can be quite exhorbitant and they may charge a parking fee on top of that!
