Mobile Where would you stay in LA and why?

As above, I'm planning on staying in Burbank for universal, Warner brothers and for visiting family. I'm just wondering if there is anywhere else in LA worth staying for a couple of nights as 6 nights in Burbank might be too long? Or do I need to figure out all the things we want to do first and then pick a second location?

So what's area of LA would you stay in and why?

We did 4 nights Burbank and could easily have done more
We also did Anaheim for 6 nights for Disney (plus Long Beach and Knotts and places south? )

We stayed Burbank and it seemed the perfect area. Not too busy, clean and safe and handily located for what we wanted to do.

We are staying in an Airbnb Walking distance to Hollywood Universal studios.
I feel this will be a good place for our 4 nights. Easy to explore the surrounding area.

We are planning 6 nights in Burbank, it seems a good location for Universal, Griffiths Park, Warner Bros., not too far from Hollywood and we want to drive over to Pasadena too. We are planning to do downtown LA and mid town, Farmers Market and The Grove at the weekend to ease any traffic issues.

We actually stayed in Hollywood at the Holiday Inn on North Highland. Walking distance from Hollywood Blvd and the metro and never felt unsafe at any time.

We stayed in Santa Monica for 2 nights... right in the front next to the pier. Loved it.

Did all the LA attractions that we wanted to (including Warner Bros) with this as a base.

Highly recommend the Georgian hotel!
