Manta has the same height restriction and is far busier than Mako - some of this will be due to proximity to entrance but doesn't explain why such a difference all the time

(It was similar at IOA with Duelling Dragons and Hulk - Hulk always far more popular and I could never understand why either. Rip Ride Rocket as well despite being nowhere near as good as Dragon Challenge / DD. Is it really because people cannot be bothered to walk to the back of the park? )

It just doesn't seem to have caught the imagination of the public which is a shame. It is great being able to ride the front and the back without waiting though.

Thank you to everyone for your replies. It seems like everyone agrees that it is possible if we spend the whole day there. We will want to do the rides and dont mind missing out on a show to do so! Looking forward to going its been a very long time.

It is definitely achievable (and my favourite park).

If you are prepared to stay late, then you can generally hammer the coasters late on. Even at Easter, I have achieved 5 x Kraken and 2 x Manta in an hour ... speed marching round each time with the boys. That just leaves Mako a good fast coaster, but no inversions.

Can’t comment on the new water ride as I haven’t yet done it.

Hi, i agree with all above, however we went yesterday and due to weather, probably the first time we came away having not done all we wanted to (due to fact it was blistering heat and then they shut a lot because lightning in the area) so we managed kracken, mako and antarctica wild ride ( this was about 1 hour 10 mins queuing in sun/ heat, not good!) and did all the shows, aquariums, etc. Nice and relaxed compared to the other parks, firewords at 9:30 are amazing! Was so hot though! We ended up just getting refills of ice frim the selfserve drinks machines and sucking ice to cool down!
