One-day ticket MK come and go?
Hi, we have one-day one-park tickets to MK. I was hoping to spend 4-5 hours there, then head back to the villa for a swim and a rest, then go back to the park early evening and stay for the fireworks. Will they let us in again on the same day?

Yes you can go in and out the same park as many tiimes as you want in the one day and your parking ticket is valid all day too. We did it at AK last year where we left the car and got the bus to have a look around AK Lodge and then went back to the Park to see Pandora at night and watch River of Lights.
Given what you pay for a day ticket though you may want to make the most of your day and maybe just have a sit down meal or do something nearby as we found that once we went back to the Villa no one could be bothered going out again especially the driver ! |

We're planning on doing this as well, the key being getting there as early as possible so you head back to villa/hotel early afternoon & then out again around 6 or 7.
(as the driver, I'm insisting there early or we simply stay all day )

Thanks, not sure who the driver will be but worried that 14 hours in a park in August will wipe us out. We are first timers with Universal tickets but I felt we had to at least visit MK!

Where is your villa? It can take quite a while to get in and out of MK without even adding on the actual drive to the villa. I can get from my house to the entry turnstile at Animal Kingdom less than 15 minutes as we are 2 miles away. MK is at least double that.

Hi, we’re near Championsgate so 12ish miles. I guess we might end up in the car for minimum 2 hours with that plan, which is not ideal either.

I wouldn't come out if I only had a 1 day ticket, I would get there for opening ,bearing in mind that takes around 30 mins from parking the car. Do as much as you can while it's cooler, then book in somewhere and have a nice long lunch, in the afternoon use your fast passes then have another nice break for your evening meal.
If you want to escape the park for a while you could take the resort monorail to grand Floridian, Polynesian resort, or contemporary resort and have a wander around there, it's quieter and air conditioned Also make sure you plan your day when the fireworks are on, and the park doesn't close early for a ticketed event Edited at 08:43 AM. |
