You have obviously been to Fremont St before I guess and know what its like? My daughter stayed at the D last year and loved it. I know quite a few people dont like Fremont St, and its a different atmosphere compared to the strip, but I quite like it for a change. Some bargain eating places so you will save a good bit on meals. Great bargain.

Yes we have numerous times! We are fully aware of what it's like lol! Good to know your daughter loved the D We just thought Fremont would be a change from the strip and the resort fee's at the D are cheaper too .along with free parking for hotel guests

Yes they loved it there. Had some nice buffet meals at Fremont St as well. I would choose that over the Stratosphere myself as I am not so keen on that area. Hope you have a wonderful time.

Whilst I wouldn't spend more than four nights on Fremont Street and can understand why those expecting more of a Strip of today vibe don't like it I think you got a great deal and am jealous
(OK I'm not as jealous as I could be as I'm writing this at 9pm poolside in Orlando but I do love Vegas too)

I'd choose the D over the strat too
