Hi get the map on screen and maybe consider a circular route which is what a lot of people do .This cuts down on road time and works well for a lot off people. If you do consider Yellowstone have a look at flying into Denver and then short flight to bozman and then drive in via beartooth pass 10.000 ft amazing, from there salt lake city and on to grand canyon

Thanks - will definately bear it in mind. Guess I will have to wait for flights to be released and then put a plan together...

Hi on our first west coast trip we flew in and out of LA. We then did
I n Santa Barbara
3 n Monterey , whale watching fantastic
4 n San Fran
3 n yosemite
4 n vegas
2 n Palm Springs
Just an example of what other people do. This year a little more abstract
I n denver
4 n yellowstone
1 n twin falls
4 n Lake Tahoe
3 n Monterey
3 n San Fran .
On both trips most nights spent using airbnb
