Custom Magic Band order..confused!

I picked 4 x custom bands for our trip in October on 20th May, paid for them with my credit card & got a confirmation email with a reference number. The payment was pending on my credit card, this morning I checked my card to pay the amount off and the payment has disappeared, it's not even showing as a pending transaction anymore, just not there and the bands aren't showing on MDE. I know there has been an issue with stock levels, but surely if I've ordered them and have an order number, my order should be ok? Has anyone else has this?


It's almost as if my order has been cancelled without telling me? I will give Disney a call at some point but wanted to see if anyone has had something similar happen?

I've seen alot of people complaining about this on Facebook yesterday and it does seem its because Disney run out of stock.
Give them a call.
if they gave you an order number then they should stick to it

Lots of issues like that as they underestimated demand.

If payment hasn’t been taken are not showing up, I would suspect that they ran out and cancelled your order. I would keep an eye on things, see if they turn up when the system glitches iron out and reorder nearer the time if need be.

I ordered ours on 20th May and got the confirmation email from shop@disneyparks.com, then 3 days later I got a follow up email from ‘Disney Destinations’ which said “Your MagicBand package will be waiting for you at your Disney Resort hotel. Simply pick it up at the front desk when you arrive“. Did you get the follow up email? I think that acted as the completion of the order. If I go into my plans on MDE it says our Magic Bands will be waiting for us at check-in and that ordering is closed. The upgraded MBs also show up under ‘My Magic Bands and Cards’ on MDE. Strangely, the payment hasn’t been taken from my bank account yet. I paid with a Visa Debit Card as that’s what I have on file with Disney, but nothing is showing up on my bank statement yet. I’m wondering if payment will be taken nearer to our holiday.

That’s what I was thinking happened. Will keep an eye on it, didn’t want to order again nearer the time incase I end up with 2 lots!
