Buying contact lenses in USA

We’re flying to Orlando tomorrow and DD has realised she hasn’t packed her contact lenses! Can we get some in USA without a prescription (she knows what it is). Are we able to buy them “off the shelf”?

We had the devil's own job trying to get my son some lenses from Walmart. They insisted on a copy of the prescription, which we were eventually able to get emailed from his optician here.

My daughter got some at Walmart. As her eyesight deteriorates between every eye test she decided to have an eye test there as well as her UK prescription would already haven out of date.

Try your nearest Specsavers / Boots tomorrow morning, might be a chance they have them in stock and sell them over the counter?
