My son loves mako he first went on it when he was 8! Me on the other hand could not wait for the ride to finish! Hated every second 😰

OP, it's one of those secrets that Seaworld are keeping quiet about. The reason there is soi much water under Mako is so that when the kids pop out, they splash into it, rather than splat on the concrete. Must have lost hundreds since it opened.
Crocodiles are happy about it though HAve to say, of all the rides, it is still the one that terrifies me the most, even after riding it 20+ times. Convinced it's going to shear off the track at some of the faster parts

Absolutely zero chance of falling out. IMHO the best ride in Orlando so would totally recommend you going on with him, honestly it's a blast

I’m tiny and always feel like I’m going to fall out of mako (I know I wouldn’t though!). I did ‘no hands’ on it for the first time at the end of our last trip and genuinely felt like I was going to fall to the floor 😂 but it was amazing and the boys sat next to me were very slim and couldn’t stop laughing at me! He will be fine. 😊

I can assure you there is no chance of falling out. I've seen a lot of skinny kids riding this. It's my favourite ever coaster I'm sure you will love it!
