Just go to amend booking and if it’s cheaper then book it. It charges you in full. It fully refunds previous booking also rather than just sending back the difference so be aware

Alamo Brits. Crazy prices. Just checked & my dates (2019) have increased to £938! That’s for 3wks, intermediate SUV.

I’ve already booked an Alamo car (thru agent) @ £551 & thought that price was expensive! Paid £491 for 3 weeks June/July 18 & that was booked direct with Alamo Brits.

OMG!
Just checked VA/Alamo price -it’s £1042 - nearly twice as much - what is going on?

Ok. Hit the garage at 6.00pm, very quiet and not that many gaps in the rows.

As my Son isn't with us on this trip I didn't have time to do pictures but we grabbed a Ford Edge Titanium the same type we had in April.

What was in the row?
Hyundai Santa Fe
Hyundai Santa Fe Sport - wrong line!
Dodge Journey
Jeep Grand Cherokee
Ford Escape - wrong line!
Jeep Compass - junk!
Chevy Equinox

No Rogues

I have to say if the Edge wasn't there I would have hunted out one of the Guys I know as although the row was full it was uninspiring

If you book through virgin car hire (Alamo) can you still go straight to garage and check in online?

Yes you can STC/OLCI with any third party broker. You might need Mr Morrow's help if he spots the post as he does it all the time with Virgin. I only do it through Alamo Brits or DFCH

I booked a far cheaper deal via Opodo last week than I had on my original Alamo Brits booking. Opodo gave me a “reservation number”, I then Googled Alamo OLCI, put in my Opodo reservation number and it recognised my booking, competed that, Googled STC straight after and the website recognised my OLCI details to allow my to complete STC. All within 5 mins of booking.
