Amway Centre

Hi Dibbers,

Does anyone know the best way to get to the Amway Centre from I-Drive?

We know about UBER but is there any shuttle service to and from this venue as we want to take a game of basketball in.

There’s no shuttle. You could get the local lynx bus but you’d need to change at the Lynx central station. For the hassle, Uber/Lyft would be my preferred option

I’ve driven & Uber’d but with amount of traffic on I4 & parking costs I’d only ever Uber/Lyft now.

Lynx No.8 will take you direct, no need to change.

They’re basically the same. Some drivers even do both. I used Lyft as it came out a little cheaper when I did the estimates and I liked that the fare was agreed/paid before agreeing to the ride (so no surprises or shocks if the driver lost his way)

We used a Mears private transfer which was quite expensive but Uber or Lyft would be cheaper.

It is absolute chaos around the Amway (or at least it was both times we were there), I would recommend booking transport if you can.

Hunt around for sign up codes etc, possibly save quite a few $’s.

Never had an issue with either of them, most drivers work for both (or so it seems).
