What time would you get airport Taxi?

Although we get the free Magic Express, we like to make the most of our last day. We have created a bit of a tradition over the years so our last day tends to be an early Virgin Bag Drop and Check-In at Disney Springs then over to Hollywood Studios for our favourite last day rides and eats. Then back to the resort for some last minute sunrays, drinks by the pool and a spruce up.

We normally get a taxi to enjoy every last minute but our flight is later this year being at 19:35 on a Friday and I'm wondering what time we should get the Taxi from Saratoga Springs to MCO? We will have already checked in and done bag drop so it's just us getting to the airport and through Security. I don't like pushing it so want to be there with plenty of time, but then we don't want to be sat at the airport for ages.. Any suggestions? I'm thinking 16:30 Taxi?

I always plan to be at the airport 3 hours before hand. The fly in the ointment is security. You just never know what you are going to find regarding the length of the queue. Sometimes we have been through in half an hour at best, other times the queues have been longer. Add on another 10 - 15 minutes for the prima donna (always been American when I have witnessed it) who doesn't want to take their shoes off and it ends up in an argument with the TSA which ends in a choice of shoes off or don't fly.

I aim to get there 2 hours before if we've checked in on line and the same the 1 time we did ds check in. This year we had to just do bag drop at the airport and we left Disney 2 hrs 45 mins before our flight which was at 8pm (which included dropping our car off) and had plenty of time, we were through security in max 10 minutes.

I am usually one who tends to be late to the airport, but I find that MCO is quite unpredictable when it comes to security. I also only took a taxi to the airport once (I usually drive) and found we took the most indirect route on the planet. I would still leave 3 even 3.5 hours early.
