So good to see you have a countdown! A shame you haven't won the lottery yet, but I agree a week is better than nothing. Have fun planning!

I had a sneaky week last year with my dd. DH couldn’t get leave, it was Easter and I decided to go. We had a great time!

How exciting for you! I'd love to sneak a week in, but it's not going to happen this year. Unless we win a SNTA place on the plane! Not long until I can book for next year though

I knew it, I knew it, I knew it! I knew you would be going this year! Our countdowns overlap now.
I think you definitely made the right choice going for CBR over AKL, £700 is probably more than your entire spends! |

Wish I could join you, but it's definitely next October for us. Feels like such a loooooong time to wait for our trip last April

that would be amazing, but highly unlikely. I'll just live vicariously through everyone else

A week is definitely better than nothing!
Hopefully you’ll win a place on the plane . I know you’re right. £700 just couldn’t be justified! We were discussing it yesterday and as we’re so used to DDP and TS restaurants this’ll be a new adventure! |

I’ve seen BA flights plus car at a decent price that we can get with a deposit however we can’t book (or I prefer not to) until we have ESTAs and as I type Marie is upstairs looking for her passport that seems to be lost! A minor hiccup as we have time to get a new one but I would like to get ESTAs sorted in case we see a good flight price.
