So good to see you have a countdown! A shame you haven't won the lottery yet, but I agree a week is better than nothing. Have fun planning!

I know, not even a tenner! I definitely will have fun planning! Sometimes I think it’s the best bit 😂.

I had a sneaky week last year with my dd. DH couldn’t get leave, it was Easter and I decided to go. We had a great time!

How exciting for you! I'd love to sneak a week in, but it's not going to happen this year. Unless we win a SNTA place on the plane! Not long until I can book for next year though

I knew it, I knew it, I knew it! I knew you would be going this year! Our countdowns overlap now.

I think you definitely made the right choice going for CBR over AKL, £700 is probably more than your entire spends!

Wish I could join you, but it's definitely next October for us. Feels like such a loooooong time to wait for our trip last April

Don't worry Vickie, you never know. You providing countless Dibbers with planning advice might qualify you for the Happiest Minute of the Week

that would be amazing, but highly unlikely. I'll just live vicariously through everyone else

I know you’re right. £700 just couldn’t be justified!

We were discussing it yesterday and as we’re so used to DDP and TS restaurants this’ll be a new adventure!

I’ve seen BA flights plus car at a decent price that we can get with a deposit however we can’t book (or I prefer not to) until we have ESTAs and as I type Marie is upstairs looking for her passport that seems to be lost! A minor hiccup as we have time to get a new one but I would like to get ESTAs sorted in case we see a good flight price.
