Taxi Service - South Manchester to Manchester Airport

Hi

Our local taxi company has let me down a few times so i wanted to arrange an alternative taxi to the airport and im anticipating it to be very busy when we need it.

It's quite difficult to ascertain quality so wondered if anyone has used Manchesterairporttaxi.com or taxis-manchesterairport.co.uk and what they're like

The "official" Partner of Manc' A is Arrow and they have poor reviews.

(Train isn't an option for us incidently)

We live in Stockport and have always used lynx taxis, reliable and reasonably priced... we were thinking of prebooking a return trip with arrow cars but maybe I'll have a look at the reviews!

Uber doesn’t operate where I am sadly

It’s lynx that have screwed me over before a couple of times

We’re in the Stockport area and have always used Metro taxis. They’ve never let us down yet and you can track your cab in using their app, similar to Uber.

Stockport again here and metro taxis used unless I can find airports own m&g at a non rip off price, bondy.

Thats not fair on the driver who may have had has to drive miles futher to get to your house and arrives 2nd and wastes his time and fuel, we all have to earn a living.

Also the drivers own the taxis and have to pay the running costs not the office you book them with

Remember someone doing the exact same on Christmas day and both cabs turned up at the same time from different companies.

The drivers knew each other and waited for the customer to come out and both drove off

You wouldn't like someone wasting your time and money

Also a good way to get blacklisted by the cab companies for future journeys

Fair point, I don’t think I would have done it but certainly calling the taxi firm the night before and day of travel to be sure they have my booking
