Much to the disgust of DH I walk really slow and dawdle along the way to the car hire, it's very rare we would ever be anything other than at the back of the queue! We use Alamo and have found that this does normally mean you get a bigger car - although that's not the reason I do it, its really because I have two knee replacements. In March this year we booked an intermediate but ended up with a Dodge Charger - it was a beautiful car and certainly stopped DH from moaning at me

Getting a Standard SUV so hope for a pathfinder
I ended up with a Pathfinder 3 years ago. I found that at 70 miles an hour it was so noisy we had to shout to communicate to each other. If it had been convenient I would have returned it, never again.

They can and do run out of cars and its possible to get a free up grade but it would be impossible to say exactly when.

Book what you need and if you get an upgrade it’s a bonus. Getting out of MCO is usually our priority.
