Just be careful on that advice...


With some like Virgin its ok not to take the car, however with BA in the Avis terms and conditions it details a no show fee.

good advise

i didnt take up a thomas cook 'free' car but i pinged them on chat just to comfirm i wasnt collecting the car in case there was a no show fee

they didnt seem in the least bit bothered but worth letting them know

This is what is detailed on my BA Avis voucher

No Show Fee Will Apply
Xl 24 Hours Prior To Pu To Avoid Ns Fee

It has no info on what the fee is though.. but taking into account when you check your avis booking it shows how much is owed and when you present the BA voucher that settles the amount due.
