Parking at Epcot or Magic Kingdom (TTC)
Hi
Sorry if this is the wrong section - I was in two minds to whether to post in here or the Theme Park Section. On one of the days of our trip, we're planning on going to Epcot for rope drop and then heading to Magic Kingdom in the afternoon until after Happily Ever After. I'm thinking of parking at Epcot, getting the monorail to Magic Kingdom and back at the end of the night to drive to our hotel from Epcot. Is this the best option, or parking at TTC in the morning and getting the monorail to Epcot? Thanks

Personally I'd always want the car left where I'm planning on ending the day. It is sometimes easier to wait in MK straight after the fireworks for a while to let the crowds disperse a bit. If I knew I had to get back to EPCOT to get the car, I'd want to get out of MK as soon as possible - which would be a little chaotic.

I'd agree with crux, park in MK, you'll be glad you did at the end of the night. Only slight snag may be if you're planning RD at Epcot? I'd still do it that way though

Hi
Yes thinking rope drop at Epcot so it'll need to be an early one - if I get to TTC for 1 hour before Epcot opening should that be sufficient? Cheers Guys - Have a great weekend.

Unless you are planning the monorail journey as part of the 'entertainment', I would drive to Epcot for RD then move the car to MK so it is there for the end of day.

In our experience, the monorail from ttc to mk isnt always running first thing so we've had to get the ferry.
Not sure if it starts earlier to Epcot. I do agree though, would be easier if the cars at ttc for thr end of the night as trying to get over to epcot could be hard work, its hard enough getting back to ttc! We often walk to contemporary hotel and get one from there as thr queues are awful in Aug!

You can still get the monorail form TTC to magic kingdom so I’d also move the car. The Epcot car park is usually quite manageable especially early in the morning and you are likely to be close to the entrance. Although whether you are near the centre where the tram is. Or all the way at the end is just the luck of the draw.
