Can i upgrade my car before i go if already checked in online?

Hi
We go to Florida soon and we got a fly drive. I just assumed that the economy car they’ve given us will be ok for the 4 of us... lesson learned, I should never assume! Is there just a chevy spark, kia rio or Mitsubishi mirage at Orlando for economy with alamo? If we get the spark we’re in trouble but not sure if i can upgrade now I’ve checked in or can I upgrade when i get there?

You can upgrade at the desk with any company but it will be dear.

Who is your rental with please?

I booked through Florida masters for alamo at MCO and they sent through my reference number. I have since checked in online and done skip the counter before i read the sticky about what cars were in their fleet!

Ok. Go back onto the Alamo website and click on Amend Reservation on the top bar. That will take you through the process of online check in again but should offer you the ability to upgrade the car. However it wont be a price difference it's a refund of your original price and a new amount to pay.

However Florida Masters may still 'own' the booking so it may need to be done through them but I doubt it.
