If Splash Mountain makes me do this, should I ride... *update Page 4*

Here’s a pic of us riding Splash today - we’re the front four. It’s funny because it really shows our ride attitudes... DH is not afraid of anything (he’s the one saluting the camera ), DD loves all the rides, DS is a newbie to the fast rides as he was too small for the biggies on our last trip. He’s liking them but just finding his feet. And then there’s me TERRIFIED! So embarrassing but hilarious. Clearly my family want me to ride everything just for the giggles at the ride pics!

why am I telling you all this? Well Dibbers, I need your help to decide whether or not I should pluck up the courage to ride the following. I’m not doing ToT

1. Flight of Passage (if we get on it that is);

2. Everest;

3. Gringotts;

? Let me know what you think...

I am a bit like you - I did FOP and so glad I did although I had to close my eyes a few times. I am glad I said Everest but I wouldn’t do it again. It goes backwards and that isn’t for me! Glad I did it though. Never ridden gringotts.

Thanks for your reply Parkgirl. I’m not sure about the backwards bit at all

Can't help with the other rides really as we haven't done any parks since 2010 and our last ride on Splash was that year. Before the days of lap restraints.

So I took this just at the drop in to the briar patch. And to forestall any H&S concerns it was proper camera with a strap securely wrapped around my wrist.

Love the picture! I think you'll be fine on those, my sister is hates the big rides and only agrees to do splash once a trip but she loves FOP and Gringotts. She won't go on Everest and I would say its the most intense out of the 3 but it's so much fun I would try it if you can

Splash is the one coaster in all the Disney parks which makes me scream my head off - I am terrified when we start to go down that drop.

I would do Gringotts and Everest over and over, love them. Haven't done FOP yet, but hopefully we will this year.

I remember standing in line back in 2010 behind an American family with, I guess, a 9 or 10 year old son who was having serious second thoughts. So his mum says "Look there's no lap bars or belts so it can't be bad" She convinced him but not sure if he tried it again.
