Thinking of getting one of these this year, at the moment the extra year free pass needs to be activated by 31st Oct, this may seem like a silly question but do you have to go to the park to activate it?

Also how do you purchase extra tickets at a discounted rate and is it valid for tickets on special offer ie 7 day tickets on offer at the moment?

Last question is are the fast passes available at a discounted price?

Also I would appreciate your feedback on how you find the AP benefits.

You activate your pass the first time you visit a park, have a look here for benefits.
Once you have your pass you can login to a special passholder website and purchase tickets from there or you can buy them at the gate and receive the discount.

We are not due to go away until 30/12 so will the pass automatically activate on 31/10/07?

Yep all Ap 2 year passes will be activated on the 31st Oct, if you have not been before that date
