Memorial Day
Starting to create my plan for May next year. We have never been at this time and will be there over Memorial weekend. Any suggestions about what to do and what to avoid would be appreciated. 😊

The Memorial Day weekend is really busy both in the parks and in the shops as they have massive sales on.
We did Epcot on memorial day itself. We managed until just after lunch when it became too busy. Turned out it was busier than MK! If you’re planning discovery cove, may be a good day to do that as numbers are controlled, or get to a park early for a few hours then do the pool. As long you get your reservations and fastpasses done on time, you’ll be fine

We did memorial day at HS at an early morning tickets event then left just after 11.30, it was heaving, we went to the outlets and although we struggled to park the shops were not too bad. We went back to HS in the evening and crowds seemed better.

We went shopping the weekend before and it was heaving! On Memorial day it's self we did Busch Gardens as we knew Universal and Disney would be busy and shopping at the outlets too as they put on special offers. Discovery Cove is probably a good one to do too as the numbers are limited. Busch Gardens was pretty busy but much more bearable than Disney or Universal crowds xx

Thanks all. Was considering a trip back to DC, either that or an early hit on a park and then pool and chilled evening.
What was it like over the weekend before?

I am also going the same time next year. I was thinking of staying away from the parks and going to the outlet early, then stay by the pool in the afternoon or maybe some crazy golf.
