Hi Ali
Sam was 18 on the first, he has had a busy couple of weeks. Yes both driving and both working now.
How are Rosie and Ryan doing? You have a new countdown, tell me more.

Venice is one of my fave places, we went at Easter and took our DD and her partner, by pure chance we saw him propose to her on a gondola going under the Bridge of sighs, we were going over it whilst touring the Doges palace and I looked out of the tiny window just at the right moment 😃
We stayed on Murano island at the Le Gare hotel,
It was wonderful, they do a free private boat transfer to and from the airport.

So glad you enjoyed Venice, it is one of our favourite cities. We love it there, wondering round the alleyways, stopping for a slice of pizza and a glass of wine. Bellissimo!

So glad you enjoyed it, I love Venice, have been so many times and am lucky my girlfriend is Venetian which helps tremendously in shops etc. I have never noticed it smell at all. Its lovely to be there over Christmas time and wake up to all the Church Bells ringing - think of that for another trip sometime.

We went to Venice last year in March for husbands 60th we absolutely loved it ,our only regret was not starting our holiday with the fast water taxis . DH said we need to go back I can live with that.
