A Red Sox game
Prudential Tower.
Would love any advice.
We are staying at The Hilton Back Bay.
Cheers guys.

Get your red sox tickets before you go and be aware that some seats have poles obstructing the view.

Get the train to Rockport, it’s beautiful.
Boston Aquarium Is worth visiting. We did a whale watching trip too which was a very memorable morning.
Don’t forget to try the clam chowder

I have been looking at them today and trying to decide if to do a lunchtime game or a night time.
Looks like fun.

We went to Boston last year and loved it and will definitely go back. We stayed in Back Bay and pretty much everywhere was walkable. We bought a Go Boston card which made us visit attractions that we probably wouldn't have done if we'd paid separately.
We went up the Prudential tower just before sunset, we could see a Red Sox game in the distance. We walked the Freedom Trail ourselves but then later in the week took a tour which was great. Also recommend a harbour cruise and a trip to Quincy Market. We also took the subway over to Harvard and took a walking tour with one of the students which was interesting.

We went for night time in the end because there were so many more things we could be doing in the daytime. We got there about an hour early and grabbed some pizza and watched the pre-match goings on.

We were staying at the Lenox and the route looked walkable but we still took the T to avoid getting lost. But there were hoards of people walking in that direction so we would probably have been OK. I loved the way the fans just mingled and didn't care which team each other supported.

We bought 7 day Charlie tickets even though we were only there 4 days. They worked out good value as we used them to get to and from the airport. During the day we would often walk where we wanted to go and then get the T back.

I would not do a day trip to the Cape if you only have one week. It is a good ride and traffic can be horrendous (commuters, not vacationers) to get on the Cape. You'll hot the same traffic going to Plymouth but it is a closer destination.

You don't say the ages of your party but the Museum of Science is good (and indoors, August can be hot) as is the Museum of Fine Arts. I love Cambridge and would spend a day there before Salem. You could also combine Rockport with Salem and Newburyport is just up the road.

Boston is beyond beautiful, we loved every second of our falls trip 2 years ago.
Salem is really more of a half a day trip, so combine that day with other plans for the afternoon
We didn’t watch a Red Sox game but did the tour and even as a sport hater it was an experience.
The Harvard uni tour was far more interesting that we thought it would be, so many titbits of info.
We book a whale watching tour but unfortunately it was cancelled about 45 mins into the journey as the waves were REALLY bad (or fun, depends which way you looked at it lol)

Check out fogo de Chou steak restaurant, food highlight for us #meatsweats
