You can see why I fell in love with the Texas chapel. I wanted something tiny but special ... I can't find a bad review anywhere either ! If I can work out how I'll add a photo.

Flights work out OK as you can include a layover of up to 24 hours enroute and Dallas is in airline terms "on the way" . I think we may fly from Dublin to keep costs down as we can do it for under £500 based on this year's fares. The chapel is close to Houston but you can get a licence anywhere in Texas , there's a 72 hour wait after you get the licence before you can marry so I'd be happier "dropping in" to get it first. The Orlando to Austin is another £80 return. I'll check fares in October and depending on fares book then or wait til the Christmas sale.
Seems ages away but it'll fly past I expect.

It's going to be busy but I think we can do it?!

Not sure about dinner yet, I was thinking about booking Be Our Guest but I'm open to suggestions

I'm having my dress made too, I wanted something slightly more lightweight because of the heat. Everything I saw when shopping was covered in lace and looked HEAVY. I've gone for a 50's style dress that's going to be very simple, but that's more my style anyway. We're looking to buy other half's suit in the January sales .
This sounds amazing! Would definitely recommend Be Our Guest for your dinner, it is honestly my favourite restaurant and the ballroom is very romantic!

Dress sounds lovely, when are you looking at getting it made? We were going to do the same for suits but as we want linen suits we're going to have to get them this summer before all the winter stock comes in! xx

My dress is actually already in the process of being made! I'm very lucky as my stepmum is a talented seamstress (she made her own wedding dress!), so she's already working on it

:) Paradise Cove Oct 2018

Wow, i am so glad i found this thread. We are getting married Oct 2018 at Paradise Cove. We found it by chance last year when we were looking to book jet skis... totally fell in love with it. We have been together for 10 years..and 6 Disney holidays! This is a second marriage for us both, and we thought this would be the perfect place. Not much planning done yet. Wedding ceremony booked, and booking villa tonight at reunion. So excited now after reading all these lovely posts.

Lovely! We fell in love with Paradise Cove too, thought I would have to convince the Fiance but he loved it possibly even more than me!
Did you get your villa all booked up? What's next on your to-do list?

Lovely, my friend was married at SBP and it was beautiful. I know what you mean about it seeming so far away, I am wishing away the months!

Had to have a look! It looks a gorgeous spot to get married...gorgeous open views, tranquil, beautiful building...

Have a lovely wedding there.
